These have just been added to Roadburn.

In an effort to check out as many bands as possible before I go, where is the best place to start with them?

I'm not a huge Doom fan (yes, I know...wrong festival), but I hear they are a sort of blackened doom, so maybe something more black than doom if they have anything like that?

First two albums were faster more of a high on fire/Black cobra buzz, last two & this upcoming one are way slower/darker & incorporating more electronic/noise parts. so guiltless & the Sycophant if current sound is your thing.

Also try Lord mantis too, pretty dark atonal/dissonant take on sludge.

About 2 minutes into that song, and I've got chills. The vocals remind me of Damaar. Very much looking forward to the rest of the album.

Really disappointed by their live show tonight... didn't engage on any level.

What were the vocals/electronics like live?

Presumably too they principally played off 'From All Purity'?
