Soft Machine - Softs, Bundles and Burden of Proof

In preparation for their gig tonight in Kinross! The current lineup features guys who played on these 3 albums in particular. Some cracking tunes and, although not original members, fantastic musicians!

Just back in from the gig! It was absolutely fantastic. Lineup was John Marshall, Roy Babbington, John Etheridge and Theo Travis. Setlist almost entirely made up from tracks from the 3 albums I mentioned earlier but with some Mike Ratledge tracks from Soft Machine Third, Fourth, Six and Seven. For a 77 year old Marshall was awesome on the drums! His drum solo was stunning given that he practically needed helped to the stage! Babbington is 78! Etheridge is a great, great guitarist and a right old spring chicken at 69!

Just an awesome gig! Not bad for a snowy Friday night in rural Perthshire lol

Tsjuder- Kill for Satan
Generic black metal it may be and yeah Desert Northern Hell is a superior record but this album is still a killer listen. Riffs, hooks and groove. Black metal that you can bang your head to is good in my book
