Came across this lot in the last couple of days and I really like their sound. It's straight ahead, no messing BM from Trondheim. Vicious, bleak, melodic without being nice, it references the likes of Dark Throne, Dawn, Dissection, Burzum and maybe has a hint of Throne of Katarsis or maybe Kaosritual/Dark Sonority in there as well. Essentially, it's second wave BM with no real modern traces to be heard but it's done very well. 'Grim' vocals and all...

Just finished my umpteenth spin of this amazing demo. It's basically all you could ask for in Norwegian black metal. Can't wait for a full lenght album

I agree. It's so damn good and possibly in danger of being overlooked by many who would like it because it is so low profile. I was chatting to Jan Evan from Vemod/OTOH at Beyond the Gates and he had never even heard of them despite being from the same city and being active in the BM scene. Odd. I have high hopes for the full length.

It should'nt be overlooked but it will...

Nemesis-era Satyricon, modern Burzum and CdGhoules-esque vocals. Superb bass playing as well.

This is without doubt the best release I've heard this year. Got another spin today

Thats class! Anyone else getting an almost noise rock vibe off the guitar playing in places?
