Surprised none of the other usual suspects had made a post about this so I may as well do it.

Bardo Methodology is a webzine the likes of which is nowhere else to be found in Metal. The depth and extent of the interviews is unparalleled out there and actually makes Metal band interviews fucking interesting again.

Another thumbs up from me. The D666 one was great which shed a bit of light on the early days. I'm sure your man Warslut has plenty of tales to tell from over the years !

Yeah, it's really good. It goes far beyond the usual superficial questions: when I like the band/label interviewed I always read something new, and I even find it worthwhile reading the interviews with bands/labels I don't like or don't know about.

This, for me, is one of the most important issues covered on the site and finally, in a truthful manner. His suicide has been mythologised over the years and photos of his suicide are everywhere. Despite hanging the LP on my wall when I was younger, I find that any exploitation of a young guy who killed himself out of desperation repugnant these days.

It's also very apparent that the whole Norwegian black metal thing that stemmed from Euronymous was a reaction to all these bands getting popular, touring and putting out records when Mayhem were stuck in a house outside Oslo day dreaming. All pretty fucking pathetic, really.

That mgla interview was the first thing that brought my attention to the site. Seems to be the only one of its kind covering genuinely interesting stuff. Top quality, I look forward to every new feature

I gave Stained Glass Revelations my full attention on the headphones today. Mental but genius album. This will be a nice accompaniment

Deadly interview. Those two living in "swamplands" makes so much sense. haha. Cannot overstate my adoration for NP.

Have been on a Funereal Presence binge the last week or two as well. Such a fucking great album. Didn't grab me at first for some unbeknownst reason but been a standard for the last 12 months or so.

Great Negative Plane interview, and class news about the new material.

Can't really place what's great about this guy's interviewing style, but every interview sucks you in. The Procession and D666 ones in particular are well worth a read.
