“It is with complete and utter sadness that I need to tell you all that our beloved father and my mums best friend Chris Tsangarides passed away peacefully last night after another brave battle with pneumonia as well as heart failure. We really are appreciating your messages of love and kindness but we are struggling to reply to them. With all our love and thanks from us all. Jane, Theo, Louis, Paris, Samantha and Casey. We're gonna miss you everyday of our lives xxxxxxxxx.”

Sad news, he had a hand in quite a few absolute classics over the years, seemed like a nice fella too. He was recently interviewed on a podcast I regularly listen to, it's an entertaining hour and a bit.

The art of production is rapidly disappearing as less and less money goes into recording. People like Chris won't be seen again. This is some list of credits

Plus he wrote the riff to A Touch of Evil. Talented fella.

He'd have only been around 21 when he produced Parisienne Walk.ways.

Total shame. I remember seeing him playing with More a couple of years ago, he blasted out A Touch Of Evil and it ruled.

Looking back over his body of work, so many albums I rate highly are there, unreal catalogue.

I posted this in the other thread, but it blew my mind when I discovered he produced Conspiracy. I'm not sure why I didn't realise this earlier, the production job on Painkiller has some similar traits. He was awesome at what he did.

I remember him appearing in the Story of Anvil as well.

He also mixed Glyder's "Playground for life".

But really, he'll go down in history for his work with Anvil.
