Sad alright, those first 3 records are as important as anything Deicide, Cannibal Corpse etc released , though they never quite got the recognition their peers achieved.

R.I.P Brett .Ten Commandments and Retribution both classics love them. Also one of the best cover versions I ever heard was The version of Slayer's 'Piece by Piece' they did..... Savage Vocals by Brett.

Balls, only 51. Just looked at a gofundme page for his colon cancer fight and it seemed positive. Solid advice from him though to get a check up if you haven't been to a doctor for years and avoid his misfortune of finding something well down the line. Must stick on TTC tomorrow, been too long.

Very sad indeed! First two albums are stone cold classics, with The Ten Commandments being in my top 10 DM albums for sure! I only took it out of my stereo a few days ago after being in there for 2/3 weeks. Better put it back in!

51 is far to young! As someone whos old man just got the all clear from cancer in that area of the body, early detection is key!
Only in my late 30's and I've been checked now for the past 2 years! Blood test and a quick finger up the bum is a small inconvenience for piece of mind for a clean bill of health! Get it done lads!

RIP Brett. 51 is no age. Another vote for the Ten Commandments being in the top ten death metal albums of all time. What a year 1991 was for classic old school death metal releases.

Shit news. He did seem very positive about the treatment, sad.

It's takes fuck all time to get your bloods done...early detection is key...get them done regularly, my Dad got prostate early a few years ago...still here as if nothing ever happened.

Must stick on some MC

Not a band I ever gave much attention to regretting that after listening to 10 Commandments. Some album. RIP
