As a Dub living on the Tipp side of the Kilkenny border and working in Clonmel with folks from Tipp, Kk, Waterford, Wexford, Cork and Limerick, let me reassure you that the begrudgery shown to Kk is nothing compared to that which all of you fucks hold for Dubs. Every draw and defeat brings you all together to dance a merry jig in my beautiful Dublin face.

You can get along when you're motivated, all of you.

That's rather true, although the hurlers aren't as universally hated as the footballers.

It's for my dad and he's not up for standing round Dublin haggling for tickets.

So if he can get one before he'd go otherwise he'd stay at home.

Bump. The Dubs have won another All Ireland and League since the last post 8) Should be an interesting league hurling final too. I fancy Clare to win it.

If Leicester city can win the premier league surely Meath can pull something out of the bag this year.

I'm contemplating being home for the semifinal in Croker, in all likelihood it'll be Meath vs Dub unless we fuck things up against Louth or Carlow.

Just realised I haven't been to Croke park for a Meath game since 2011 when we lost to Kildare.

Must fix that.

I'm back living in the country again so will be hitting as many Donegal matches as I can, if we can fucking win. So up and down over the league campaign then decided not to show up against Dublin in the league semi final. Not as confident for the Ulster championship this year.

They'll be tough as usual. Coming off that Div 2 trophy there's every chance they'll clinch Ulster this year. Monaghan are still strong and Derry, although inconsistent as fuck, can produce really good football in championship times. But Tyrone could be through the rebuilding process now and give it a good go. The cunts!

The hunt for tickets has been depressing this year.... looks like i'll have to deal with scalper scum. Hon Mayo, etc.

Sorry this GAA lark is blatantly fixed. Dublin deliberately didn't put the ball over for at least 15 mintestinal so that Mayo could equalise and there would be a replay.

Seemed Mayo were about to produce the most Mayoesque performance in that first half but to give them credit, they really came back well in the second and deserved at least the draw

I'd say the amount of 'fuck sake's ringing around the county of Mayo must have numbered in the thousands after that second OG.

Fair play to them for coming back from the dead when Connolly put Dublin 3 up. They have it in them, I hope they can avoid the early bungling they seem to have to get up to early in every final they play.

Changing the conversation slightly here but does anyone know of a top inter county player who was prone to a bit of headbanging?

Diarmuid Connelly. Only it's not his own head he likes banging.
