I see Skybet are offering 50 to 1 for a rematch to take place within a year.

As much as a "farce" as this fight supposedly is I'm still absolutely buzzing for it. Hopefully the fight will offer something interesting rather than McGregor being jabbed in the face for 12 rounds or the two lads constantly tying up in the clinch every 10 seconds.

I reckon Mayweather is going to take it easy on him.

The whole thing is obviously to make them both money so I can't see him going to hard on him.

For all people talk about his 'pillow fists' and being boring, they don't mention that he's been fighting elite boxers fight after fight for years.

If Conor makes it to a decision then Floyd is carrying him.

We need McGregor to make Ireland proud in a spectacle event? Lord have mercy on us all.

Even though it's a carefully scripted match, I hope the outcome is in Mayweathers favour, if only to spare me from listening to the drones in work on Monday and seeing them air box.

Didn't expect what?

By all accounts it went exactly as scripted?

Didnt expect McGregor to look so technically assured in his head movements, punches, general mien and lasting as far as he did - ?

Ah come on, the duration and Mcgregor's "better than we expected " boxing abilitiy was part of the script.

People love an underdog story, it was essentially the story from the first Rocky movie with obnoxious amounts of money at stake.
