Hi all,

My name is Jules and I moved to Belfast from Canada in September but haven't gotten around to posting on here until now. I've been to a couple gigs here in Belfast since September but was hoping to reach out to make some like-minded friends! I've been to a number of festivals over the years such as Wacken, Hellfest, Metaldays, Brutal Assault, Stoned from the Underground, etc. And usually find myself at the Siege of Limerick at least once a year. Most of the Irish friends I have live in the south so if you feel like you'd like to meet someone new either for a coffee, pint, or third wheel at a gig, let me know! Would really love to meet some new folks and make some good friends. :)

Cheers everyone and hope the holidays treated you well!

Welcome To Ireland Jules, I hope you're having a good time :)

The Limelight Belfast is regular for Rock/Metal.
There's the Monsters Of Rot in Co. Fermanagh.
http://monstersofrot.com
The Voodoo Lounge and On The Rox in Dublin are 2 main venues for gigs.
The Academy is another place in Dublin too that can have Rock/Metal gigs too.
Rosin Dubh in Galway has live gigs too.
Fred Zepplins in Cork is a big one in Cork.

There were more festivals but they stopped for various reasons.

They're a few, and I hope they help, a few leads there.

All the best Jules.
