- Mesa Dual Rectifiers produce the most boring, soulles tones known to metal.

- Scooping mids is a crime: Dimebag has already paid the price for his heresy. Metallica still getting away with it, but they'll get theirs.

*waits patiently for the anti-marshall brigade to arrive*

Vintage guitars simply are not better guitars. The best guitars ever made are being made this year.

Japanese > American.

Oooh I like this thread

Oh im gonna have fun in tis thread!!!

Marshall amps are......wait for it......pure shite!!!! I cant stand the fucking things! They sound like crap, and thats only when the fuckers arent broken!

Whats the deal with Gibson Les Pauls? I dont get it, never liked them to play, like the look but they feel horrible to me, oh and Jacksons too, cant stand the things!

Also will have to agree with the Doctor, vintage aint all that either, the best guitrars are being made in our time.

Anything Peavy is the best you can get.

Everything else is leagues behind their far superior quality.

I still have my Marshall jmp biult 1980 bought by me 1987, still sounds deadly, still have the same cab for it too, 100 watt 16 ohm never replaced one speaker yet.. now thats just brilliant..

Marshall have produced 90% of my all time fave guitar tones.

I hate active pickups..
I hate scooped mids..

I love all my stuff cos its better than yours.. lol

I'm an Ibanez TS9 through a Marshall JCM800 (handwired, limited run BTW Diezelshredder ) and an ISP Decimator man myself. Favourite pickups are the Duncan Livewires.
