I can vouch for the Hercules auto-grab ones as well, although I've yet to venture anything heavier than a Jackson or Ibanez onto them.

they held a couple of explorers and a heavy as fuck Ibanez SZ320 for me without complaint, so unless you're throwing some take-the-piss 8 string at them they should be grand.

Matchetts in Belfast use them to wall-hang all their guitars - if they can be trusted to hold three grand of Gibson seven feet off the floor, we should be alright

Ended up buying this so I could have 2 decent guitars going in to record next week -> http://www.thomann.de/ie/dean_guitars_r ... ith_lh.htm

From what I've heard on youtube/reviews, it seems to have a very dark tone which is what I'm looking for to offset the bright/fat tone of my Agile.

Right, considerably smaller list than I would have had last year but I've cut back on what I own to purely what I need rather than what I want.

Guitars:

ESP LTD EC-1000 - EMG 81/60 set, everything else stock - Tuned to Drop A
Ibanez RG7620 - BKP Aftermath/Dimarzio Blaze pickups, custom brass hipshot bridge - Tuned to B Standard
Ibanez M80M - Lundgren M8 pickup - Tuned to Drop E

Amps/Cab:

Orange Micro Terror for home use.
EVH 5150III 50 Watt for rehearsals and gigs.
Harley Benton 2x12 cab, mostly used at home as I use a variety of cabs that are not actually mine when rehearsing and gigging.

Pedals:

Boss NS-2
Boss TU-2
Dunwich HM-2 clone
Mooses Custom Electronics Rollin Rock Tubescreamer Clone
Mooses Custom Electronics Reverb

It's a 79. That busted coil broke my heart. Working MB pickups are getting hard to find. They're a thing of beauty when they work but so many of them have dead coils and they're generally epoxy sealed. I still want to add an SB of that era to the collection, but it's a fucking minefield out there. Aaron Armstrong (son of Kent) makes replacements but they sound nothing like the original pickups, just the shape is the same - found that out the hard way.

Yeah I'd heard that. I got a cheaper Aria a few months ago with the right size pickup but with the exposed pole pieces. Wasn't overly impressed with that pickup so just sold the whole lot on again. Reckon I'll stick with the stacked one even if it looks a little odd.

Heads
Diezel Einstein 100w
Madison prophecy 100w
Engl fireball 60w

Pedals
ISp decimator
Boss tu-3

Guitars
Ibanez uv70p indo built (not a patch on real version but nice none the less)
Ibanez uv777bk jap built (a guitar I spent a lifetime chasing-love it,everything last thing about it)
Custom built 8 string built by Jamie Thompson from lantern for a gale in 08, built before retail 8 strings, 30" scale , BKP black dog in it, sounds Huge but reminds me of playing a sitar. But that thing is built to survive a bomb!
Fender 5 string p bass in j bass config
Bc rich nj deluxe warlock in white, for oncology stuff, awesome playing, but truly robbed of its tone by having an 81 / 85 EMG set in it. Thru neck etc, all that wood in the guitar and it's been cursed with them. Coming out ASAP for a set of bkp. Not sure what yet.

Recording
MacBook Pro 15" running logic 9- though I've had a few tech problems with it. Impressive bit of kit however upgrading tomorrow:) just a lil excited.
Focusrite Scarlett 2in 2out
Amplitube 3- found this to be very good, though time needs spent with it.
Home jamming
Orange 20w combo with onboard efx -can't remeber its serial
Line 6 sonic port which I plug into my iphone 6 and through that I use a selection via Bias, jam up pro and the pod software that came with perfect for home jamming, nothing else.
