Quite enjoy Premier Guitars Rig Rundown videos. Great look into what bands are using, especially if you're a gear nerd!

There are so many great ones, so post your favourites. I'll start with the latest Meshuggah one:

Some amazing guitars and the rig is savage.

some of the vids in that series are/were awesome, although the Corey Beaulieu one really pissed me off - "my rig is these four guitars and my Kemper"

Ah yeah, some of the dudes either haven't got a clue or are too stuck up to give a shit.

I think most of the videos are really cool and informative. Especially when the Guitar techs do them, although its also cool to see the player know everything about their gear!

There was an absolutely brilliant George Lynch one, I'll see if I can dig it out

The Red Hot Chilli Pepper guitar ones are great if only for the sheer amount of Boss pedals and no bypass loops or anything.

I actually think the older Meshuggah one is better than the new one. The tech gives a lot more info on how cubase runs their rigs in the older one. Those new stoneman guitars look really cool. I think its pure genius how they run their Axe-Fx, with the rhythm player switching to stereo when the other takes on a lead part.

I know its not a "Rig Rundown" but gear gods do some cool Rigged videos too. The Sumac one is pretty cool.

The God Is An Astronaut one is intersting to see them go through how they set up the patches on their Axe Fx's

Some cool ones recently:

Devin Townsend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4GIhOfQmAU

Periphery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhKo-JURY6w

Animals as Leaders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4RzdtEt-ak

The Devin one is cool but honestly I think he's had the same rig for a few years now, so nothing new really. The Periphery and AAL ones are great. I get genuine pleasure when the player know their own gear and you're not getting the rundown from a hired gun roadie.

Must have changed a bit as this was his board from the Ziltoid show at the RAH but he seems to have switched to a Fractal MFC-101 board

Aye, that was 2015. Any video I've seen of him showing off his gear, especially his DTP rig, over the last couple of years has essentially been the same. Framus into rack/AxFX into board= Sorted :P Not taking away from it at all, its a savage rig and sounds awesome!

It's where I first came across the Rainbow Machine. Tried to hit him up on Twitter for how he uses it but no joy

Most interviews he talks about how he's looking for a few specific sounds and he seems happy that the rig he has now gets those for him, so I doubt there'll be much change to it. That Stormbender guitar seems a like a serious bit of business
