Had a problem over the weekend where my head was reporting overcurrent on one of the tubes. Basically started getting this crackly, poppy noise. Checked the TSC on the back of the amp the LEDS indicated that one of the tubes was having problems and should be replaced. Tried to find a replacement on Saturday but no-one in Limerick had any.
Turned it on again on Sunday to check for the matching pair and the amp didn't seem to have the problem at all. Played for maybe 30 mins and it was grand, no LED warning lights etc. Anyone know if this is something that comes and goes or should I still replace the matching pair of tubes given that it happened once?
