Started using the Oeksound "Soothe" this week - definitely one of the best plugins I've heard - its out a bit but I only heard about it this week. A dynamic resonance supressor... very cool. Kinda like a dynamic EQ or MB compressor, but different and better sounding to my ears - such a great way to reduce nasty sounds from recorded instruments/vocals. Top notch and so easy to use. Well worth a look on YouTube....

On a related theme - the Ignition Amps "Emissary" VST amp is pretty great too... out a while, but combined with their overdrive its pretty nice (especially for a free one!) and easily as good as the LePou sim's (also free) if not better to my ears. Amazing how good some of these have got over the last few years - especially when paired with a great sounding cabinet IR...

Sonnox Oxford Inflator is really nice in reasonable doses. It adds a nice and subtle amount of scuzz used well but sounds like something too loud and shit if you push it too much.
