The really sad part of all this is that there are bands that will still ask Phil for a slot.

Then why post here and bump it back to the top again?

It wasn't off the front page. I wouldn't have posted had it of been. I won't be posting on this topic/subject here again.

To all the people that offered me advice throughout this thread. Thank you! When someone with more experience talks, you listen!
All the bands and promoters, I respect and love you all. This has all came out wrong on my side, I have nothing but complete respect for all of you! I didn't want this to happen!
Well, it's all over now! Got to admit, going on the radio. Which has reached no 2 in the Mixcloud metal charts, with many hearing about a fundit and spectacularly blowing up is a pretty rock n roll ending!
The emotions this also arose does by default make me a good promoter too! ;-)
Also, the fact this all brought attention to Metal ireland is also a good thing as it's to aid metal in Ireland.
Which is all I ever truly set out to do! I went over my head and crashed. On a cloud so to speak.. Shoot me!!!
Peace!

Good way to end this thread, fair play. Guys got a point I'd say traffic to the site was definately up a fair bit last week.

FFS, it's all going to kick off again. Such is the notoriety of this skylarking, if you google "Metal Ireland" you get "Metal Ireland Philfest" as the second match!
