Emanating Fist Electronics - Lucifer Rising

If you're looking at this then chances are you're well aware of D*A*M and Emanating Fist Electronics. What you have here is essentially a finely tuned Tone Bender MKIII - Not a direct clone either... Get the full scoop from the D*A*M man himself.

Deep brooding overdrive tones to piercing full-on fuzz attacks. The Lucifer Rising offers a wide spectrum of timbre and saturation effects all with a very ancient flavour. The Darlington, or Super-Alpha, circuit arrangement delivers large degrees of gain whilst remaining highly controllable with excellent note to note articulation. Each circuit is finely tuned using three NOS British manufactured germanium transistors; from brands such as STC, Newmarket and Mullard. Tonal consistency being our main objective here. As with all EFE sound devices the Lucifer Rising is perfectly suited for operation with both vintage and more modern high output instruments.

As a go-to high gain germanium fuzz box the Lucifer Rising covers a large amount of sonic territory. It can readily dial in the classic three knob Tone Bender flavours of the past, comfortably distort and maintain focus at speed, and hold it's composure under the weight of lower frequency tunings. However your desires unravel let Lucifer bring you the light.

Magnetics Effects - Datsuns Bad Taste Fuzz

An original design hybrid silicon, germanium and opamp fuzz. It is a medium gain fuzz with a controlled low end response. The top end has a nice balance of bite and smoothness as well as a healthy dose of midrange which enables the fuzz to sit well in the mix, particularly in live situations.

Controls are: Volume, Tone, Contour and Fuzz. The Tone and Contour controls are interactive which enables a wide range of sounds to be achieved.

The Bad Taste Fuzz has a high input impedance and a low output impedance which allows the pedal to play nice with buffered pedals in the signal chain. Switching is true bypass and the pedal can be powered by a standard 9V DC centre negative adapter.

Artwork by Philippe Caza.
Powder coated enclosures.
Screen printed graphics.
Aluminium knobs for a classy feel.
Top mounted jacks and DC socket. DC Powered only.

Basic Audio "Futureman" added. Pics etc here - https://reverb.com/uk/shop/freak-fuzz

Overdrive and fuzz meet up with an unconventional set of tone controls. Mids, bass and treble are adjustable with only two knobs for a thick muscular sound which can be dialed back to a scooped mid or to a treble boosted fuzz or overdrive sound for cutting through dark amps or complement multi pedal setups. The missing link!

Sounds great on bass too.
