So Devs FB posted an image of what appears to be the open air amphitheatre in Plovdiv with the Ocean Machine symbol saying 2017. Seems a few bands that played there recently did it with orchestras. Gonna be keeping an eye on this for definite.

Tweeted him to see if there's any truth to it. Got a winky smiley back so fingers crossed.

Definitely be at this. Decided I'll not be missing any of his special, one off gigs.

No direct flights from Dublin to Plovdiv, would have to be into Stansted and on from there

Can fly into Sofia and get a train from there. Doesn't look too bad of trip.

Had a nose around on TripAdvisor. Seems the locals don't speak much English so might skip the nightmare of figuring out public transport. 3 day Polo rental is 70 quid.

Tall John from Bad Rep was there recently for the Katatonia show so might pillage his brain for info.

:Edit: Spoke to John, you can fly into Plovdiv with Ryanair but only from Stansted. Flights only go Friday and Monday though so a long weekend might be in order. He said the venue and overall experience is great, place is cheap but also re-iterated that public transport in Bulgaria wouldn't be the best.

Good to know, nice one man! Guess we'll all to wait for an exact date to start planning.

Still hoping it's Ocean Machine in full with an orchestra. So epic.

Just hoping it's some time after April so it doesn't clash with exams. Have managed to get to most of the one-off shows over the last few years so would hate to break the pattern. Wonder if there's a plan for a DVD release?

Nothing on the ticket site so far.

That date is a balls for flights as well. Only Ryanair flight in that day wouldn't get ya there in time for the gig. My plan to fly to Sofia and rent a car is back in action. Thursday flight from Dublin don't land in Sofia until 23:50 though so might make getting to Plivdov that night tricky for anyone relying on public transport.

Yeah, looking like it'll be a bit more awkward than I thought getting there, but hopefully get tickets sorted first and then figure it out

Ocean Machine live in full, followed by a 'By Request' set with an orchestra. Sounds like it'll be some gig!

No word yet on where to get tickets though, guessing ticketmaster or the venues website?
