Great show in Belfast tonight. Didn't make it in in time to see Alcest. Anathema were outstanding. New stuff came across quite well considering I'm not a big fan of The Optimist. The place was absolutely stuffed which was great to see. Songs of the night were Untouchable Part 1, Fragile Dreams & Lost Control. Great selection of merch for both bands with about 10 or 12 different Anathema tops. Pity I've nobody to mind the kids on Sunday night because I'd be hitting it too!

Both bands were brilliant last night in Belfast.
I've seen Anathema 4 times now and last night was by far the best, the whole band were in top form and having the craic with the crowd.
As mentioned above, the new material came across very well live and the merchandise for both bands phenomenal. Great gig, flawless actually 5/5....
Roll on tonight in The Academy, it's gonna be a blast!

The Dublin gig was phenomenal last night. Anathema were in top form and the onstage banter from Vinny and Danny was a right good laugh.
The sound was perfect from the get-go and soundman Ian, rightfully got a mention from Vinny.
Another great night, after the Belfast gig.

Belfast was a great show, I hadnt heard a note of the Optimist before the gig. A welcomed return.

That was great. The new stuff is a whole lot better live. Some of the onstage banter was a bit cringe tho, especially the end...
Alcest were fuckin' class too, they get better everytime I see them.

Alcest were unreal! I found Anathema to be kinda irritating and disingenuous on stage... but everyone else seemed to love it. Worth it for Alcest though, what a set!
