WITTR really come to life live. Simply not the same vibe on the recordings. The first track off two hunters is special though.

Seen At the Gates a few times in recent years. Solid live.

Where would you start with Behemoth? Know nothing about them.

Hard to say? I like the black metal era, though they’ll touch nothing from those albums live. They changed after to a more textbook death metal band , to be honest those albums are solid but nothing groundbreaking. Demigod maybe the best of that bunch.

From the apostasy onward they’ve been introducing other elements into the mix, I think The Satanist especially is cracker!

Their older old and newer stuff is good.
Maybe try Thelma 6 or Zos kultus and work your way from there.

Evangelion is a class album. Zos kia cultos is great too but a little more death metal. The satanist tho is their finest hour to date.

yeah great album, have it on now in fact!

this could be a great show. WITTR is the only band i haven't seen. not sure how it would translate live with their long songs but it sounds like they pull it off...

Thelema.6 for me, quite enjoyed The Satanist. Listening to Zos Kia Cultus at the moment, it’s much better than I remembered!

Zos kia is a pretty under rated death metal album, was a huge fan when it came out.

Their debut is black metal classic but as said, I think they've blocked it out of their collective memories these days...then I think with the brilliant Satanica, they started to establish the death metal sound they're known for now. Then they hit a real return to form with Evangelion which I didn't think could be bettered but people say they did better it with The Satanist album..which while I accept is brilliant, I think I need to listen to it a few more times.
