Just looking at the weather there guys & it's fingers crossed that we get out. It looks like the really bad weather that's forecast won't be here until Thursday night which is grand because we are heading over on Thursday lunch time into Amsterdam.

Feck it anyway, if ye flew to Eindhoven instead ye would have taken off at 3pm after a 2hr delay!! Did the pilots pull straw to decide who's going or not??

Hopefully my flight from London tomorrow leaves. Ally rebooked to Stansted from Belfast tomorrow night and on to Eindhoven first thing Saturday. Roy made it out and is there eating burgers.

On the train to Tilburg. No vallenfyre or auroch so far which is a balls as I was looking forward to both. Looks like profanatica might be doubtful too. Still if that’s all that cancel it’s not a bad outcome in the circumstances.

I was looking forward to Auroch actually as well. Any chance of a few live streams during the weekend? ;-)

I was thinking of trying to get down for the Sunday scince I have a late flight to Amsterdam on Saturday. I dont know how I could get to Airport now even if the flight were to go ahead. It will be me and the cat in front of the fire with a mug of tea instead.

Who were the 7 bands that couldn't make it in the end?

Yep I heard that from my mate who made it to the festival...because he came from Madrid....The Neurotic Deathfest was in May & the weather was super for it even though it's indoor

I never want to go through that again the unknowing is the killer but shit happens.

I didn't even look for online video just kept the head down over the weekend

Yep, bank holiday weekend. That was decided before this weekend though. Mixed feelings on it as it's very close to MDF.

The 7 bands were Auroch, Rites of Thy Degringolade, Vallenfyre, Root, The Afternoon Gentlemen, Leng Tche and Sadistic Intent.

Great fest and craic. Caught a lot of bands. The standouts for me were:
Friday - Aura Noir, Carcass, The Ominous Circle and Profanatica
Saturday - Nunslaughter, Evoken and Esoteric
Sunday - Altarage, Mournful Congregation, Cauldron Black Ram and Mortuary Drape.
