Just saw an ad from Me Saco Un Ojo on Facebook saying that they will be releasing Hunger on vinyl before the end of the year. I have listened to the tape so many times and I think it's one of the best Irish releases, it's up there with Slidhr and RoN for me despite being very different to either. Can't wait to get the l.p. hopefully the long promised follow up, The Crossing, will happen soon, too.

Haven't stuck the tapes on in ages. Kinda forgot about this project, must delve back in. Was totally class is the impression I'm left with anyway. And where are the Irish BM bands since the likes of this and Sodb fell off the face of the earth? The country has a great DM scene but little in the way of proper black metal.

Given Corm just became a dad I wouldn't say he'll be in any hurry to finish it in the immediate future

Must dig up the cassette again! Had a go at the demos on vinyl not that long ago. Has the band played live in the past?

Twice. They played the Invictus 10 year bash with Gospel of the Horns and Neutron Hammer and they played a shambolic gig I organised for Sacrificial Dagger the same year.

I just remembered Cormy telling me that after that gig he was so fucking gimped that he fell on his face on his way home and broke his bass in half, hahaha.

Oops! Just realised that I caught that set at the Invictus 10 year bash. Makes sense that I went on to buy the demos...

Had Hunger on last night after Cormy posted about the vinyl. Great album. The tape was a constant in the old snot mobile alright Andy.

Yeah. CD needed now that the snot has been sent to the glue factory and the new steed is allergic to reel to reel!

Blasting Hunger here now for the first time in a while. It has a very unique buzz, I think. It's catchy and kind- of melodic but incredibly dark. I still remain hopeful for The Crossing to emerge eventually.
