It is, unfortunately starting to look that way.

Now clashing with the Invictus show then. I know where I'll be.

It was always clashing with the Invictus show! Only the location has changed. But perhaps some folks will find it easier to catch Coroner on Sunday if there are no more fuck ups?

Just meant both in the one town, but yeah the big crossover would be Coroner and they're the next day. At this stage.

Anyone who's going to the Academy for the Phil Campbell gig on Saturday night can get into this show for half price if they present their tickets at the door on entry. The Academy show finishes at 10:15, On The Rox is two Luas stops from the Academy so you can be at Rox at 10:30 pm. You'll still catch Malthusian & Oraculum.

FREE IN after show party until 3 am then once Oraculum finishes.

You'd have to feel sorry for anybody that had accommodation and travel plans already made for this farce of a festival

Great to know...

Currently waiting on the camping weekend ticket price to be refunded to my account, says 5 - 10 days, no doubt will be the 10th day.
Probably will still go to the Saturday for Pat McManus and Slough Feg.

From the roll Facebook page..

*********** SAD NEWS ************

We have done everything to keep this weekend alive but the powers that be have now stepped in and the event is cancelled.

Believe us when we say that we have done everything to keep this weekend going. We had too much in place for the outdoor gig to the point that the extra security measures scared the locals and then going indoor to a properly insured venue, with all the reshuffling, we missed the extra hours policy for insurance. So one venue was o one venue was overkill and the other was confusion.

We have never had an issue with insurance before nor with any trouble at events that would deem us a risk. We are at a loss to know what to say or do now. The last 2 weeks have been a complete nightmare and we are so sorry that it has come to this. Your time has been wasted, 18 months of our time has been wasted and nothing to show.

All tickets are being refunded and all bands have been notified. To say that we are devastated is an understatement

We would like to thank the Academy for giving us a home at the last minute and we would appreciate if you could share this post so everyone is aware.

Thank you to everyone who supported this event. You are the true spirit of Metal in Ireland
