Decent enough. The Slayer-esque beginning was unexpected.

Melodic arpeggios and sweeps have no place in Deicide for me..... pass.

With the exception of the whammy bar, that was literally the Hoffman brothers' entire solo style????

Nuts. Deicide dropping a gem this far down the mediocrity tube. It's not quite up to the standard of Stench but its definitely got its DNA. I'm hearing a lot of the better Once Upon The Cross moments in there as well. Its a bit samey but lets face it this is a Decide album. Glen even sounds a bit more coherent. There's a couple of absolute cracking tunes on it.
Crawled From The Shadows is a highpoint. It sounds like a cousin of Crucifixation from the debut. Absolute monster of a song.

Couple of decent songs on it alright but does the world really need another album of songs about Benton wanting to suck the flute off Satan?!

I think gem is pushing it, but it's not a turd either. I hear a lot of Serpents Of The Light in it (formulaic) plus Stench (good guitar). The lyrics and vox are banal.

Couldn't sit through the whole lot of it. Second track sounds like celtic metal Deicide style...
Not truly awful but fuck wasting 40 minutes of a Friday night on it.

Ah ffs peoples....with a lot of positive comments, I REALLY went to listen to this hoping to take something from it. Its fucking terrible....and I mean that by Deicide's own latter day standards...formulaic...boring....samey...all the usual. I actually think the godamn awful 'Till Death do us Part' is even better and that's saying something.

That was the last deicide album I heard and enough to put me right off. No intentions of listening to this.

Sounds like a sped up Fintroll or Alestorm. Not worth spending time on, plenty good bands out there
