Quote: Hi Friends,
It is time to announce the last band for KEEP IT TRUE 12. It is not a normal “band”, cause we are going to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). This was the most important scene for Heavy Metal ever and we thought KIT would be the perfect place to celebrate this. We will have a fantastic backing band consisting of the NWOBHM tribute band ROXXCALIBUR (www.roxxcalibur.de) and they will play these great tunes together with the original singers from the UK. We plan to get at least 10 or 11 musicians from the NWOBHM over for this special event. The following are the already confirmed NWOBHM heroes:
Brian Ross (Blitzkrieg, Satan)
Jess Cox (Tygers Of Pan Tang)
Russ North (Cloven Hoof)
Lee Payne (Cloven Hoof)
Terry Dark (Jameson Raid)
Additionally to them we will have at least 5 or 6 more famous names from that era. We will announce them as soon as we have the ok from them. We hope this will be a once in a lifetime event for you all and you will all enjoy all the classic NWOBHM hits sung by its original singers.
I saw Roxxcalibur over at HOA and they were brilliant!! The NWOBHM anniversary show is going to be something very special. I can't bloody wait... just look at that line-up!! It's unreal.
Quote: Tickets for KIT 12 are going to be sold out by next week in our web shop, cause we now have less than 200 tickets left here. But there are still tickets available at www.hellionrecords.de and www.nuclearblast.de. |

| Thinking of it Simon. It's far enough away from UTH to be viable.... |

A few updates:
First of all, Cloven Hoof are replacing Hell. I'm gutted Hell won't be playing (Kev needs surgery) but Cloven Hoof are one of the best replacements I can think of.
Secondly, Procession are replacing Manic Ritual! Killer.
Thirdly, Picture are replacing Hittman. This will make up for me missing most of them at HOA last year. Class!
Finally - the most exciting news - the special guests for the NWOBHM Show have been confirmed as:
Jess Cox (Tygers)
Brain Ross (Blitzkrieg, Satan)
Dave Hill (Demon)
Steve Grimmet (Grim Reaper)
Lee Payne and Russ North (Cloven Hoof)
Cliff Evans (Tank)
Mike Tucker (Tank)
Mark Brabbs (Tank)
Tom Angelripper
Terry Dark (Jameson Raid)
Graham Shaw (Bleak House)
Keith Satchfield (Fist ) TBC
Thunderstick (Samson)
and Harry Conklin performing Samson and Maiden Tracks
I grin like an idiot every time I look at the line-up! |

| In just over a week! I can't fucking wait for this. KIT is supposedly one of the best experiences there is. Cloven Hoof, The Gates of Slumber, Living Death, Armored Saint, Atlantean Kodex, Procession, Rigor Mortis, Picture, Abattoir, the NWOBHM special show, Exumer... fuuuuuck. I'll probably miss most of them, but still! Wow. |
