| Search for the other threads about Hellfest from other years. I was there in 2007 and it was a blinder of a bill, but the whole weekend was dogged by poor organisation. Can't remember what people said about this years fest, so get reading! |

If I'm in Europe, I'd be very tempted to go on the basis on that announcement alone. Fucking Manowar?! Yes please!
Hellfest is easy, just fly from Dublin to Nantes, a taxi from there to the train station and it's about a 40 minute journey from the station. The year we were there the journey from the train station to the site took ages due to bad signposting and the fact that the festiva is really close to 'civilisation' threw us off. It's only about a 25 minute walk.
What we did was flew into Nantes on the Tuesday before the festival and had a few days there before the festival. Cool enough city, and by the Wednesday night, pubs were happily full with people heading to the festival, which was great craic. |
