I'm sure it gets old......if you're following them around on tour. But sure, what the hell; all repeated stage banter gets old the more you see bands live. Some examples from our own scene;

Are you with us Dublin?

Come on ta fuck!

Get up tha fuckin front!

Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi

etc etc - it's hardly a fair criticism of a band clearly having a laugh with the formula.

"If you live by the sword, then you're gonna die by the sword."

I wonder how many times Tom Araya has said that?

I prefer; "this is for all the little cunts that like to spread their legs in the night".

Yes......but almost everyone does! That's like giving out about a comedian using the same jokes on the same tour; it's not their fault you're stalking them Razz

I saw them live once and they used those lines and they had the whimsical stoner rocker attitude to compliment and it was highly entertaining for the crowd, most of whom were also seeing them for the first time. If the songs bear repetition then the banter doesn't need to imo. That's why I'll still go and see the Irish bands referenced in my other post.

I found their banter amusing but it must get fucking boring for the singer to say the same crap at every gig on tour. Just say nothing...

Earaches pursuit of the whatever the next trend is, is both ugly and shameless.
This from the label that wanted nothing to do with Metal in the mid late 90s and threw electro/gabba/industrial at us....

HOD are a fantastic band, make sure and pick this up guys. They had an album out that they were giving away for free but it was top notch quality and shit. Also one of the best bands I've ever seen live. Give em a listen dudes!
