Quote: Cruch, let me know if you book flights to this. I might convince the boul' Tazz to go.
Will do Donal. Although I was more on for it until I read this:
Quote: Be ready for an announcement from the stage about 2010, following the one and only exclusive performance of our new album.
Unless that amphitheatre is a giant time machine and the new album is Sign of the Hammer I'm really not sure this is worth going to for just one day.
Zaragoza might be a better option. |

It's 350 euro for the 'Ultimate fan package'(means u get to hang around wit Manowar a bit)
The regular tickets are 75 euro each.
I agree though that metalway is much beter value for money.Thats where i plan on going.Infact a lot of the people on the Manowar forums aren't bothering with the Germany show. |

| I was on for this fest cos I really enjoyed it last year and Joey did say he was planning on making it a week long this year, so I will reserve judgement until I see what the whole story on it is first. If it turns out to be just a one day gig then I dont think i will bother. |

It's only one day of bands playing.
Whats been said by one of the admins on the House Of Death forums is that the venue was only available for bands to play on the 18th.
But that there will be lots of activities during the other days.
The info probably wasn't released on any of the sites properly about this. |

I'm not sure about this myself. It's sounding more and more like they're going to play the new album at this before it's released, so I'm not sure if it is going to be worth it when they're already headlining at least 4 other festivals in Europe this year.
And, if the rumours are correct, they are very close to be announcied as Wacken headliners. |

Yes they are playing the new album all the way through at MCF.Thats really their only selling point for this festival. At all the other festivals they will play just a mix of songs.
And as for them play at Wacken i seriously doubt it.
It's gonna be hard enough for them to get Germans to go to MCF i doubt that Joey will play 2 gigs in the same country especially when it could effect the success of MCF.It did bad enough last year sales wise. |

Lineup is still atrocious, even though Crystal Viper are playing, but it's the addition on Wizard that has swung this fest into a definite for me. Love their "Battle Of Metal" album.
Anybody else up for it then? |

Only if i win that Ulitmate fan package so i can get a festival ticket for free haha.
Yeah i wish they'd announced Wizard a lot sooner.I would have bought a ticket for it.
On a side note there's 10 bands or so playing. There's only one stage and all the bands including Manowar are playing on the same night.
Can't help but feel that none of thee bands are gonna get any decent play time. |

Lol. I don't post much on that site. I really just use it to get info.
I'm a girl
I'm flying over on Monday and staying for a week. It'll be my first time going to Germany. So, I'll be meeting some friends and doing a bit of exploring. What about yourself? |
