It's hard to judge these usernames.
I still haven't booked anything. I was hoping for a Ryanair cheapy sale, but as it's holiday season, it never came. Flights have been around 120 euro for the past 3 months.
I just dunno if it's worth it! Really torn about this one, it's minimum 200 euro just to get there and get in, to see Manowar, Crystal Viper and Wizard.
That's a fucking dear gig.
Then again, I recall the absolute mental craic we had last year at it, so I'm trying to gauge craic vs money. |

Yeah that's true.
Just buy the ticket. You'll regret it otherwise. It's going to be savage! DO IT! |

Frankfurt Hahn is closest man. There's an English fella off the HOD picking me up on the friday morning from the airport in the spirit of true metal.

Have been looking at ways of doing this all week. Far too pricey.
You have a good one. |

| That was fun. Best advice I got all year was just to book it and go. Manowar played a blinder, I had the most awesome craic with the brothers and sisters of metal, and the Lorely was the most beautiful venue I've ever seen. |

Setlist was similar enough to Hellfest, but they did a minimal amount of De Maio Talking Bullshit. They then done the new album, it was brilliant. There were several weepy eyes during "Father"!!
They done 2 and a half hours, but it flew by, never saw a gig go by as quick. The support bands were mostly excellent (surprisingly) which was class too.
The place was bunged as well, it'll look good on the inevitable DVD. |

I had an awesome time. Those really were the best few days of my life...well, so far anyway!
Obviously, the bands were brilliant. It was my first time to see Manowar, and they blew me away. I will definitely be going to see them at MCF IV next year, wherever they're playing.
The best part of the festival for me, was meeting so many different people, from many different countries. I made some awesome friends. Heading to Berlin, Belgium and Holland to meet up with some friends in the next few months.
Donal, it was great to meet you there!
