Just got a friend request on myspace for these lads/this lad/ette from Clare. Sounds like interesting noise/ambient stuff. Just thought I'd give them a little plug as there are a few heads here into this type of thing.

Just got the promo of the album lads - thanks very much! I have to say, I'm not usually a big fan of ambient/noise/whatever tag you want to put on it, but this is great. Really love "Aos Sí". Shall play a track from the album on Scrios Agus Ár on Raidió na Life 106.4FM tonight between 9 and 10:30pm.

Thank you very much for playing the track Twisted Evil The album is now available from Cold Spring

FROM THE BOGS OF AUGHISKA - 'From The Bogs Of Aughiska' CD (Lone Vigil Recordings)

Dark / Black Ambient noisescapes inspired by Celtic history, the harsh, rugged west coast of Ireland, misty boglands, dark nights, rural isolation, forests, The Burrens flora and fauna. Over 40 minutes of cavernous soundscapes (similar to Inade, Satori and Lustmord), moving into Vinterriket territory, with interesting tales of banshees and the pagan mythology of Ireland. The musical equivalent of standing atop the majestic Cliffs Of Moher with a gale force wind in your face.

Must get this. Sounds great.

The talking from 'Aos Si' is from a documentary called 'Glenafooka - The Glen of The Ghost'. I recognised it immediately as I had taped it off the tv at the time. Think it was late 90's.

It's on youtube. Worth checking out.
