That is a mighty little shop.
I've been there twice, great ould selection of Doom. The lad who owns it is a sound character, the shop is only a hobby for him, that he opens up in the evenings after he has finished his days work. |

I stumbled on this shop by accident. Got some great second hand vinyl and cd's in there very cheap. In perfect nick too. It's mainly a jazz shop but has some great metal / Rock /Punk etc. Not far from Yellow Dog records.
Also a great place to eat just up the road on the corner. Can't remember the name of it. Right across from Paulie's Metal Eck (great Metal Bar).
So your well sorted.

If Rome's anything like Milan, good luck!
Best shop here in Lausanne, Switzerland is Disc-A-Brac. Not too big, but they have a good selection of CDs & vinyl, and the owners are sound & only too happy to help. Also organise gigs sometimes, like this weekend's Jarboe, Eyehategod, Kylesa, Thee Silver Mount Zion music fest.

Quote: then a few nights in Rome
I found a cool place there, mainly specializing in prog and psych but with a decent load of stuff from the heavier ends of both and some weird little finds, some of the vinyl was a bit pricey but not too bad, defo was a shop for connoisseurs.
the bad news is Ive no fuckin idea what it was called or where it was but hey, walk around Rome long enough and maybe youll find it.
No need to thank me for the help. |

No metal shops in Berlin that I know of anymore since Metal and Hell shut down.
There is a market every Sunday on Boxhagener Platz, a square off/on Grünberger Straße, which is not far from Pauli's Metal Eck. There are a couple of stalls in the market that I've picked some decent stuff up at as well as a few record stores off the square that could be worth a visit - There is one on Krossner Straße which usually has some good stuff including Eastern Block stuff. There is another one on Gartnerstraße that is also a pub, not a great selection but good for a browse. |

Either way dave there are a few more record stores and the like in the area around Boxhagener Platz.
We did encounter another store back in 2008 not far from the Viking bar. Mainly did Bro-core belchy misogynistic death metal and army surplus though. |
