so what price is loop, temple lane, blackpits, dedsound, muzzle, applerock
or any other studio in dublin?
our pa's have bass bins
sm58 mics
no extra charges for amps/drum gear or mics
wedge monitor for the drummer and a drum riser that is bigger than some reharsal rooms ive seen.
when you consider ALL the gear works properly the rooms are big clean and properly done
how is it a rip off? |

| €55 for a 4 hour session seems reasonable enough if the rooms and equipment are in good nick. |

red enemy?? is that the band that have a room with no plaster or paint on the walls, no pa system and every time dan lang plays drums he nearly comes through the kitchen ceiling?
for a start its a different type of studio, its not permanent rooms so thats where you are saving. |

Haha yea they stayed in the old building for some reason...our room is far superior!Yea that is how we`re makin the saving, and id recommed any other band that jams at least 3 times a week to do the same as us and RENT! |

haha chillax there danny boy, Maybe for bands like yourselves practicing 3 times a week. But for me and the lads who just starting jamming we can only get in one 4 hour session due to work commitments and such, so 55 bob is grand like. Cheaper than all the other session studios around |

so is it a rip off for bands that dont practice 3 times a week?
ie cover bands, tribute bands and new bands.
block booking is not for every band. |

No offense man,im not trying to sabotage your business or anything like that,if temple lane were on here advertising id be saying the same thing!
Its just that we were paying 50e for 4 hours 3 years ago...and since we can all use the recession to be cheap cunts nowadays we might aswell be demanding lower prices from our services, dont you agree? |

how much is the average 4 hour session? 60?
thats more then i charge.
i think the quality of the gear and rooms will shit all over on most of the studios in ireland
if you think you can do better go for it start your own place, i have rent and rates do you have any sort of idea how much that shit costs?
then ive to pay for building materials, carpets, tiles, new toilets and a fuck load of gear.
im pretty sure 55euro is the best your going to get in dublin. all the rooms are the same size with the same gear. anyone who ever practiced in kross (beside the submarine bar) will know what im talking about you had a 1 in 3 chance of getting the "good" room!
not every band has or needs their own room, but still needs a place to go,
im not ripping any one off. you are the first and only person to say anything like that.
come down and il show you around the place. show you how wrong you are |
