Dont think ive seen much discussion on these lads, any fans here? I thought Farseeing.. was a fuckin deadly album, despite there being far too many instrumental tracks. Dont think these lads have put out a bad release if you ask me, although I havent heard the first 2 full-lengths...

Love this band, the Iron Maiden of death metal. Shame they got no profile help from earache and weren't pushed by them at all. Delighted they got the new album out themselves anyway (cost €10 post incl from them directly with the rate of exchange, sweet).

I've only heard a few tracks off 'Spell of Retribution' but they were excellent, definitely not your usual brand of Death Metal. Looking forward to hearing the full thing.

Probably their best effort, but 'Conjuration of The Spectral Empire' and 'Reaching The Veil of Death' arent too far behind. Apparently the real early stuff is being reissued once sales of the new one do well enough - the stuff goes for retarded prices on ebay these days.

ya they are great albums, first heard them on a terrorizer cd about ten years ago, been hooked ever since, picked up as many releases as i could,i have an album thats limited to 1000 copies,im sure its one of the albums you named above.I thought they would have got popular when they signed for Earache/wicked,promotion seemed to be poor enough for them back then when that album was released.

Everything they've done is killer, my favorite release is their 2nd album -Deathcult for Eternity: The Triumph- unfortunatly I lost the CD a while ago. I have to get the new one at some point.

Also check out Serpent's Aeon with Ex-The Chasm members.

Listening to Spell... there. The urgency in some of the riffs is massive. Are they the link between Heavy and Death Metal?
