| I'd like to stick up Matt from Sorcery. I haven't seen many people anywhere who can play as fast and tight as that lad. I'd give my right arm for well, his one I suppose. |

Yeah, Gary Moore, I was really surprised watching some of his stuff with Colosseum II, very versatile player. |

I'm surprised Gary Moore hasn't been mentioned more. His vibrato is just awesome.
Plus look at the blues grimacing! |

You all forgot about the mighty Steve Moore of "Fireland", Ian Speedo Wilson of "Sweet Savage", Andy Baxter of "Last Known Addiction & well the Stormzone guitarists Keith & Chris.
Loads more but their first to mind. |

| Some of my favorite players locally would be Steve Condemned, Terry 99Miles and Poley. My pick over all of those cracking players would be Neil from Hungers Mother. Truly amazing tone, style and above all skill. A talented guitarist who doesnt seem arsed with fret wanking or posing! |

| There's only one Rory, the rest are just shit, just playing fast scales does not count as being a great guitar player. It just proves they spend their life in the fuckin bedroom with total GuITar. Gary more worth a mention too. |

So you're saying that Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore are the only two great Irish guitarists ever?
Hmm. Ever heard of Eric Bell, Vivian Campbell, Pat McManus or Simon McBride?
And there are a few lads on the local scenen at the minute who are more than worthy of inclusion in this category |
