| Nice work there Shane. I've frequently had bids on various Tascam analog 4 and 8 tracks only to have been outgunned at the closing. |

Aye happy days man. A mate of mine found it in a music shop in Tullamore last week and the guy who owned the shop said it had been there for a few years gathering dust. They're discontinued now. Still has the tag on it for €400... so 80% off! |

| I bought the last Schecter C7FR 7 String from thomann.de for £500. It normally retails at around £900. I was chuffed to bits at getting it for such a cheap price. |

Picked up a DW 5000 double kick pedal for €180 and it was absolutely immaculate. Bought it off a guy on the doorstep of Music Maker too! It was priced around €500 downstairs and the one on display was actually in worse condition from just being fucked with by passers by in the shop! Went home and bet the living shite out of my drums with a big smile on my face! |

No. It was an impulse buy/error on my cousins behalf. Put it this way, he aint too bright when it comes to effects and their purposes "Fuckin' sound is shit out of these!!". He distorts his clean channel |

Yeah nobody ever distorts their clean channel or uses a single channel amp. |

- Got a 20" Meinl Mb20 Ride, 16" Meinl Amun Crash & 14" Meinl MB8 Hi-Hats for 300 brand new on sale Nass Drum Center!
- Got a 24" Meinl Mb20 Pure Metal Ride for €350 and a Pearl Masters SST Maple 14x6.5 for 200 in the music maker sale, also got a lot of freebies that day!
- Swapped a lot of second hand recording gear which cost less that 500 and a sabian xs20 ride for a 3 month old Roland td4kx (usually 1200).
I have gotten many more deals over the last few years but these are the most recent! Honeslty i usually buy all my gear on sales as it allows me to get more bang for my buck... drumming is one hell of an expensive hobby! |
