 I'm not sure what your point is? CT has said he is aiming at new audiences not new scenes, "the kids" aren't all listening to Attack, Attack and similar bands. I'm sure some are still looking at Metallica, Slayer, AX7 and other mainstream bands who are more just straight metal/hard rock and is those people CT is aiming at. |

If you can't find interesting and new Metal then you are simply looking in the wrong place. Ride For Revenge, Teitenblood, Grave Miasma, Blood Revolt, Diocletian, Witchrist, Necros Christos, Antediluvian, Negative Plane, Haud Mundus, Moss, Bone Awl etc. ect. are taking Death, Doom and Black Metal into darker and more fucked up territories than ever before and not resorting to over technical noodling. Quite the opposite in many cases.
