Yeah, hope he doesn't turn his toes up before finishing the books. Absolutely amazing series, he has a brilliant way of really bringing the characters to life. I presume/hope he's probably holding off releasing the next book until the series starts and there's a bit of interest in it. At least the tv series will hopefully give him an incentive to get his arse in gear. Don't fancy waiting another 5 years.

I'll be very disappointed if the lesbo scene with Cersei and Lady Merryweather isn't included when they get to filming a feast for crows. I've already got the sock I'm gonna use picked out.

Hopefully this will be done well. I'm really looking forward to it. I really liked that "Pillars of the Earth" done on the Ken Follett book last year (I know not the same type of thing really). It wasnt 100% to the book at all but still done really really well.

Don't know much about the fantasy genre at all but I've heard that one mentioned as being up there with a song of ice and fire a couple of times. Worth a look then Greame?
