Goatlord - I have the Bleeding Rectum / Fleas and Lice split LP from yonks ago. I got a LP-MP3 deck last year - 'bout time I had an excuse to set it up! I'll try to sort something tomorrow. I think I may have got some tape copied from Paulrus that led me to pick it up in the first place? Would have to go digging for that.
Jobrok1 - I've made some progress tonight with Lamentations and Crypt, will be mailing you and the relevant people... EDIT: actually, check out the Tricifix and Crypt threads where I've posted tonight! |

the tracks on the cd are the split tracks + the tape I think
lost my tape somewhere
it was called 'very unpleasant indeed' and had an inverted cross with a picture of an arse on it

Cheers - if there is anything you are looking for give me a shout - also interested to know how the whole conversion process goes - never done the vinyl straight to PC - only via a standalone phillips burner. |

Got it done there eventually. Got an Ion USB turntable from Malpins 13 months ago. Comes with a quick set-up booklet plus a CD of software for converting over, one for working with iTunes (EZ vinyl/tape converter) and the other for "advanced" users (Audacity). Just had to download some code from Lame to allow Audacity to convert their file format or WAV to MP3. Audacity is handy as you can pinpoint where you want to break up the record into individual tracks, take out noise etc.
Anyway the tracks are up now at:
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/irish_metal/files/Irish%20Metal%20Mp3s/Bleeding%20Rectum/
21MB in total for the 9 tracks. Track 1 is titled "Carcomb" on the LP but I'm fiarly sure this is a typo!! |

No!
It says on the blog, 'some fella called Daniel from Clondalkin'. That's all I know about him.
Didn't see the harm in putting them up on the blog as the whole point of the tapes was to make the bands known in the underground.
I'm looking for Vol.2 if anyone hase it.

Fairly dodgy stuff on those EP demos, alright!
But funny all the same. |
