Three episodes in and I'm totally hooked.
Quality show! Hope the standard stays as high as it's kicked off with. |

| It's casted really well I have to say. So many of the characters are exactly as you'd imagine them when reading the books. |

| Yeah and yer man who plays Commander Mormont in the nights watch is perfect for the role. I always liked Tyrion when reading the books and Peter Dinklage has made me like him even more |

That was one of the things that I always found intriguing about the books actually ... almost none of the characters were particularly likeable, I thought.
Will have to check out those links later. No way I can wait for it to come out on DVD.
All these references to the characters is bringing back vague memories of the story, but it's been so long since I read the first four books that I'm confusing it with about six other fantasy series at this stage. |

| That is an interesting point you make, I kind of agree as well because George Martin makes his characters all very flawed they all do bad/wrong things. Tyrion at first I hated but around the end of the second book he grew on me because he actually was the only Lannister who was a decent-ish person. Jon Snow in the books is a bit of a legend though! |

Ya but where's his talking crow? He better be in the next one Surprised Samwell Tarly did't show up in that episode as he's a fairly big character later on in the series.
Casting is good all right. That young fella who plays Jeoffry is fairly spot on, the vehemence when he called the butchers kid Cunt was spot on. Have to say was worried about Catlyn at the start but your ones been doing a great job so far. |

It was Starks daughter he called a cunt.
The missus was watching it with me when this happened.
She was well shocked to hear it on a TV show. |

Yeah that little bollix who plays Joffrey is perfect! I was expecting fat old sam to be in the episode two and for jon to have to save him from the bullies but it will probably be next episode. Cat has surprised me as well, she is every bit the bitch to Jon Snow I expected |
