| I just upgraded there to a Motorola Atrix and it's an Android. It is more poeerful than the iPhone as it has a dual core processor and it runs everything smoothly, including HD video. It even docks as a computer that can plug into your TV. My laptop is redundant now, as it's much quicker to use the phone. I strongly recommend it - avoid the iPhone marketing tripe |

| Wow! That's a pretty strong statement dude, I love my laptop. Score 1 more for Android. |

Motorola phones always used to be dodgy - the Atrix has finally turned it around. I've been using mine to stream Game of Thrones into my TV. Fucking powerful job so it is.
I'd remain clear of the Milestone - I used to work in a phone shop and slide phones are notoriously breakable. |

| Yeah Mark, I've played about with my brother's one and it seems great. I've decided to go with it, and intend to ring O2 tomorrow to cancel / negotiate my contract with them. Orange seem to have the best tariff for me, and with cashback sites the discount is pretty good. |

| picked up the samsung galaxy s II sim free for relatively cheap (some tax free sale on in a shop in tilburg) - would definitely recommend it. theres an htc desire hd and an iphone in the house here and this thing shites over both of them put together. faster than both, really rich colours, huge screen without being bulky, very thin and weighs absolutely fuck all. bit of a step up from my last phone which i found lying in long grass at the end of a wet summer in the mournes. |

| I originally wanted that phone although it wasn't available on Orange at the time of upgrade - it's a great phone as well. |

Through what interface?
That sounds really cool and is something I would consider when looking for such a phone, which is something I've been planning for a while. |

This is one addictive app. It's the simple ones that get you in the end |

Played with a Nexus S the other day. It's utterly piss poor. It's made by Samsung instead of HTC I believe and the quality of the casing is awful.
It just feels as if it's a child's toy. The UI is standard Android with no overlay, but still incredibly slow, even with an upgraded CPU and GPU.
I'm usually quite interested in open source systems and their ilk, but I think my current Android will be my last. I'll probably get the iPhone 5 when it's out.
As much as everyone goes on about the mountain of free android apps, they're rubbish. I'd rather pay a few quid for the apps I'll use that have passed QC at apple than some shite a lad in his parent's gaff lashed up to the Android Market. |

So I went for a Samsung Galaxy II phone, and it's a beast. Really digging it, but the texting is a bit of a pain in the hole to get used to. I've just found an app that turns the phone into a Super Nintendo, and playing Zelda on my phone is fucking amazing. |

Songkick great app. Has every gig in area listed also uses your mp3s to track the artist and related artists upcoming shows
TuneIn every radio station in the world and you can search stations by artist and it will list all stations playing that artist at that moment |
