| I'd advise to just quit while you're ahead with those first 2 GNs. The Boys, for the past 8 months or so has stagnated something shocking. Ennis tends to hit his stride in every series and then balls around until the big ending where everyone dies. |

Good to know Donal. I was debating whether or not to spend 15 euros on volume 3, reckon I'll save my money.
I'm just after reading an ABC Warriors graphic novel (initially published weekly in 2000AD in 1988 I think, the year my dad got me my first issues!). Christ it's poor reading, though redeemed somewhat by Simon Bisley's black and white illustrations.

The Boys are good up to about volume 6 IMO. After that it's a bit generically Ennis.
Got The Walking Dead volume 14 through the post today. Heavy shit is going down... the zombie holocaust survivors are going to be pushed to their limits. |

| I picked up a copy of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers omnibus on amazon for £13.99. Its every f.f.f.b. comic strips all packed into one comic. 600 pages. Awesome stuff. Love Gilbert Sheldon's stuff! |

Just picked up volume 1 and bought the prequel beforehand, clever writing and excellent artwork. You can get them on Amazon or nip into Forbidden Planet in Belfast
Started reading it myself, it's absolutely brilliant!! Fairly flying through the issues at the minute, loving it to bits.
Also highly recommend Northlanders, very very very good series. |

Massive fan of Fables, Willingham is a great writer.The first nine or ten graphics are really strong.
Northlanders is great as is DMZ, Brian Woods other ongoing title. Check it out if you haven't |
