| I know The Prodigy will raise a few eyebrows here but I think it's a brave and excellent choice! |

Very strange choice of headliner no?
Im all for diversity and everything but The Prodigy? Seriously? Decisions such as this are why Downloads reputation has suffered greatly in this past few years |

It's moves like this that are making Download and Sonisphere an attractive option for me. I love all out metal festivals such as Hellfest but sometimes breaking up the day with metaller-friendly music of other genres works really well. Sonisphere in particular is good at this. |

Im very happy Prodigy are 3rd headliner... they are truly amazing live and i think their is a great appreciation from alot of metalheads for them.
As someone said above - its nice to have something a little different to mix it up.
Should pull alot of interest from a good number of friends so could be a really good festival this wan! |

Guess it mustn't be that far out of a choice after all
Saw them a few years ago at oxegen and wasn't impressed at all, although the sound was pretty ropey |

Been a long time since this festival was a solid metal/rock festival so it's not really a surprise.
Sure haven't they had them headline in the past anyway? |

| Not suprised by the choice of 3rd headliner, in fact, I welcome it. It's nice to have variety and The Prodigy are a very Metal friendly dance group.... that being said, if there's a daycent Metal act on the second stage then i'll most likely hit that instead. |

Dnekro - that is the usual process but i think if i remember correctly from early May time you'll recieve your tickets (or thats what i can remember from prior years) and as you said thought that counts!
Also since tickets are on sale for last year's price £190 until January 31st better getting them now than paying an extra say £20-£30! |

| Has anybody noticed that the Ireland v Croatia match is on at Sunday, June 10th at 7.45pm. If Black Sabbath are playing Download on the same night, what's a football-loving metaller to do. By the looks of things the Croatia match is the only one we could get a result out of. Hopefully Black Sabbath will play Ireland the previous week and the dilemma will be solved. |
