I'd like to start this topic to see what bands people like and what we can expect to see in Dublin.
Hopefully the concert organizers and promoters will show a little bit of interest, and they'd be able to tell us what bands we could hope to see in the near future
So if there is any band you'd want to see, post it and let's see what happens |

Personally I'd like to see:
Amorphis, Annihilator and Overkill
I've never seen these bands before, even though they tour a lot in the UK, they never seem to come over here...
Theres lot of other bands aswell, but I dont want to make a huge list, just now |

The Revolution will be internetalized!!
On topic, you should treat concerts abroad as an excuse of visting random foreign cities you might not otherwise think of going to, like how people go abroad to see football matches. I'm going to Oslo this weekend to see Clutch. I get to see a favourite band of mine and explore a new country. Double win. |

I seen this year Judas Priest with Whitesnakes in Prague, its a beautiful city and it was a great show, but Whitesnake was shite to be honest...
And last year I went to see the 1st Big4 show in Poland, that was fuckin great
Im looking forward to seeing what next year is gonna bring

| Is there not enough gigs to keep you pleased? Also you live in dublin and you can get near anywhere for a very low cost to see those bands. Christ. Fucking Dick. |

Second Overkill
Went to Frankfurt to see them once. It was one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Pity I can't afford to do it every time they tour.
I would love to see whatever John Sykes comes out with next come to Ireland. |

The Big4 never came to Ireland so I went to see them in Poland,
and that was the very 1st time they ever played together.
Also Judas Priest is on their last world tour, and I wanted to see them 1 last time, plus I get to see Prague aswell, where you can find the best beers and most beautiful women on the world.
If that makes me a dick, Im a big fuckin dick...

Would love to see Meshuggah here but i think it won't happen. There was mention in a thread ages ago about them being a very difficult prospect to get over here. Wasn't into them when they played here years ago, 94 or something like that.
No doubt they would sell out the likes of the Academy or perhaps a slightly bigger venue. |

Mesuggah is great, hope to see them myself...
Next year they'll have a new album and maybe the tour after that will include Dublin.
Hope H will book them, maybe in the Academy or in the Vicar Street...
