Tool and Blink 182 rumoured. Steel Panther are a strong rumour.
Doubt Blink 182 would do it unless they sloted them in before a headliner...Hope they don't play anyway. Tool would be cool though...
We'll see how it works out. |

| I doubt very much Tool would play unless they got a headline slot. |

I can't believ people are still dubious about electronic music sitting side by side with metal. The Prodigy were embraced by metal heads years ago, Pendulum have an appreciation, Korn have done an album with Skrillex, Nosia and Kill The Noise, Askingalexandria have a remix album coming out, Morbid Angel have experimented with beats in their latest album, Rammstein have heavy electronic influence...
Fucking come on people. Heaving aggressive music is not just about drums, guitars and someone whailing. |

| Wouldn't be surprised if Skrillex was headlining a second stage given his popularity and pthe crossover |

To make matters worse, the initial poster had the cheek to put the Prodigy ahead of Black Sabbath in the thread title. Promptly changed.
And Wayne, The Prodigy was only embraced by metalheads once ecstasy was introduced to the masses. Ask any of the Irish metalheads who have been around since the late 80s/early 90s. The metal scene dwindled in numbers once yokes arrived. |

| The Prodigy's last album 'Invaders Must Die' is great though, only really got into them after being part of the crew at the last Belfast show they done. Great band to be playing this festival considering how cack the lineup normally is. That said, I'll save my pennies and go elsewhere anyway. |

If Black Sabbath are playing Download on the same night, what's a football-loving metaller to do. By the looks of things the Croatia match is the only one we could get a result out of. Hopefully Black Sabbath will play Ireland the previous week and the dilemma will be solved.
So let me get this straight, you want Black Sabbath to play against Ireland and Croatia to headline Download? |
