WITH ALL THE BANDS THAT WANT TO PLAY I'LL HAVE TO DO A DOOM WEEK.
JUST GOT A KILLER REQUEST IN THE LAST 20MINS, SAID "YES" INSTANTLY.

Would be cool to see Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats or The Wounded Kings over for it.

Would a band like Black Oath tempt a few people from continental Europe over?

I think Wounded Kings are planning a few dates over here before that. Be well happy to see either of the other two.

Don't think Uncle Acid play live.

Don't they? If not, they will soon. There's a lot more money to be made for them if they tour (given the current buzz about them).

Well yes, that's if they have a care for making more money.

Although I'm not 100% sure if they don't actually play live, just heard it from numerous sources.

Just found this interview though which clears things up

Yeah, but this will be changing for various reasons. We were really just a studio band at first. That was the agreement. Then a bit later on we decided to play some live shows which turned out really, really badly. It just sounded terrible as a three piece. In the studio it’s different because I can add the rhythm guitar and the keyboards, and sing harmonies but of course I cant do all these things at once in a live situation. We live in a pretty remote place and there aren’t many musicians round here to play with us so we just stopped playing gigs and went back to rehearsing new songs. It’s different now though because people actually want to see us live, so its easier to focus on getting it right. Before, people around here wouldn’t even tolerate being in the same room as us.

Given Uncle Acid's growing popularity it would be in their interest to 'figure it out' in order to play live, which I am sure they're in the process of doing.

Of course, it's one of the funnest weekends in Dublin every year! It would be killer having you over again Dennis. Chances are we'll be seeing you over here before then anyway Laughing

Fingers crossed there, just hope my wallet's doing fine before September though! Nonetheless surely having an eye out on that particular date and the upcoming band announcements!
