| It won't bother me for the most part but I'm sure there are plenty of people like Dennis who love both styles. |

What is it with festivals clashing this year? First Hells Pleasure and Hammer Open Air and now this.
I would have thought they'd be together enough not to split crowds like that and make fans with broader tastes in metal choose. Whatever about the above two, but particularly HOD and NNW! as they're both in the same country.
No doubt there's practical reasons at the root of it but it's just a little annoying. |

| Silly clash really (like HP & Hammer) but it's somewhat inevitable these days when there's a festival on every fucking week now. |

| Agreed. I'd love to do NWN but unless HoD has a shit line-up I'll be in Wurzburg. |

| Wonder why HOD have moved from their usual October dates this year? |

| On our usual date the venue was already booked and that was the only date we could do, cause in autumn there are some weekends where music hast to stop at midnight due to religious causes (which sucks!!) and we do not want to have to stop at midnight. Plus the NWN fest is 600km away from us and a total different direction than HOD...Of course there are people liking both, but we had no chance...and be sure, HOD 7 will be killer...the bands that i am talking to right now are really great. |

Not sure the having to stop at midnight would make a whole lot of difference, particularly on the Saturday, as most people are fucked by then anyway and there's always 150 beers afterwards.
On the other hand it would be a lot more concerning if the Jungle had to stop at midnight |

| I'd imagine all the shouting and pile ups on the street wouldn't help though |
