For those of you who don't know there has been in long development a free roguelike dungeon crawler based on Doom, called DoomRL (or Doom The Roguelike). It was made in ASCII characters first and has been that way for a long time. Now though, it's upgraded to full on top-down graphics ala Gauntlet, but with the gore and demons of Doom.... and also the music. I advise anyone who played the original Doom to go get this NOW as it is awesome. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said ... DO IT. DO IT NOW!

So what are peoples thoughts on Mass Effect 3 so far?Picked it up on Thursday.Haven't found the renegade actions during scenes in the game as fun as they were in 2 and they seem less frequent as are the renegade options in speech.
Much better variety of weapon ,armor and mods.Kinda more like the first Mass Effect.
Skill development on characters is a lot more intersting on characters too and Bionics don't seem to be as overpowered as they were in 2.
Enemy AI seems to have gotten a decent boost too.
Citadel seems to be the only city in the game where you can explore and interact with npcs besides the ship regularly and seems to be a lot less quests and subquests despite them claiming it's a bigger game than the first 2 and requiring 2 discs.

I'm liking ME3 so far. One of the things that annoys me, is on the ship. Didn't it tell ya which people were in certain areas on the ship in ME2? Sometimes I'm checking all over the place to find the new guy. Poison.

I've played about 10 hours. So far I've only seen the Citadel as your place to dander about.

I got mass effect 3 on PC and cant play it due to these weird red lines that keep appearing everywhere. Bloody irritating. Would anyone by chance know what to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just started playing Starcraft 2.....I foresee a serious addiction developing here, really miss PC gaming, there's just a certain feel to games you don't find on a console.

Do the lines only appear while playing a game? If not, could be your monitor. If so, sounds like an overheating/dying graphics card to me.

Just picked up The Walking Dead game for the PC on Steam. So far, only one episode - next one will be d/led next month when it's out. Pretty good game, nice graphic style, and decent acting. It's a point and click adventure which means checking the scenery for clues as to what to do next and also you have to make decision choices based on your dialogue options, so it's basically more of a storytelling mechanism than a game but that sits alright with me, it's still pretty good.

Aye Walking Dead is pretty good. Have it on the PS3. Not really fussed on the main character, but the rest is all great. Can't wait for the next episode.

Fairly enjoyed that Dragons Dogma demo to.

Legend of Grimlock on pc is perfection. Dungeon Master for 2012 is the best way to desribe it. £12 on steam and worth every penny.

Welp... I got the baseline for it anyway.... the only sideffect is that it may well run as slow as shite on a slug. Think I need to think about upgrading. Sad
