| God, it's been so long since I used one, I don't really know what advice I'd give! I suppose it depends on whether you're going for a Godflesh style with the drums, or something more traditional. |

| sorry for late reply mate, ha pure digital death!!! i can do most things on it i just cant make fills sound convincing. like i say, any advice whatsoever is appreciated. |

| Fills can be difficult to do, definitely. Are you programming the drums through a sequencer, or are you doing it by hand? Getting a realistic drum sound will always be very difficult with the SR16, but you could always go for an Agoraphobic Nosebleed kinda style and do some really digital, harsh sounding fills. If you're using a sequencer, I can always send you a few MIDI files to give you some ideas. |

| sorry for late reply once again mate, getting the hang of it but so much to learn yet. i want to maintain a certain amount of realism. I have been jammin with it alot of late. any drummers out there possibly break down what they play in note form that i could possibly try and emulate it?? thought id chance me arm. if not, not to worry? Paddy can you possibly give me a few things to try maybe, kinda feel stuck in a rut with it. cheers boss |
