Or there will be very well spoken words in the Haus Of 150 Beers. Or Schlaps. Whatever.

It'll be my 6th HoD. Not too fussed by the Pentagram announcement. The first couple of times seeing them at Hell's Pleasure and particularly whelans was great and won't be topped. Last HoD performance was average for me.

Wouldn't go as far as calling it average, but somehow it didn't resonate with me, as expected, not the least I was hoping for PENTAGRAM to completely kill, now with Victor back in the band. Still can't put my finger on it why that was... Nonetheless it's certainly a great addition to the billing, eventually we're all a bit spoiled the last couple of years anyway, aren't we? Wink

The 6th pilgrimage to Doom City is sorted then:)
Doing Satanday only I guess.
Solstice and Pentagram on one bill is enough.

A few question about this festival...

How much are tickets?
What is the best way to get there?
Is accommodation expensive?

Ticket is not very expensive, cheaper than a gig in O2:)
The best way to get there is to fly to Frankfurt and get a train to Wuerzburg.
The train journey is no more than 1.5 hour.
The sooner you book a train, the cheaper it'll be.
To save on accommodation, you should book in advance, plenty of hotels not far from the venue.
Babelfish hostel is 1 minute walk from the venue, fairly cheap and clean.

The best doom festival in the world!
One of the nicest cities too.

Drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson has quit THE SKULL, the band he formed with fellow original member of Chicago doom legends TROUBLE, vocalist Eric Wagner, and the band's longtime bassist, Ron Holzner. Jeff says in a statement, "Upon much thought, and effective immediately, I will not be participating with THE SKULL. I've decided to wait for a real TROUBLE reunion with original members or not play TROUBLE's music at all. I can not comment further at this time. My apologies to those who have been disappointed."

Saw them last year or the year before and they were absolutely class. Blue Skies In Red Square was a particular highlight.

It will be the amazing suave dancer LE FART from LE IXLIP delivering an astounding performance to the latest jungle beats. Doors will be 0 Euro and no bouncers are present to make sure every shitfaced mongo gets in.

That's more like it. Very Happy
