Apparently not actually one of the Nidrosian bands (ie Fossbrenna/Terratur Possesions bands) per se, these lads sound utterly abominable. This is the thickest, burliest black metal I have heard in a long time. Utterly devastating stuff. Somewhere between DSO and Morbid Angel? Dunno, but they are unreal. Investigate!

Listened to this three times in a row and it's fairly fucking average in fairness. Some OK bits but overall it's pretty dull.

Really? It blew my head off on the first spin and sounds just as good a spin or two on. Clearly your ears are gay.

Actually, it's not far in sound from Chao but that demo didn't really excite me too much for some reason. I prefer this.

I am very happy for my ears to be gay in this case.

Sounds good alright and that Chao EP is a stormer.

While on the topic of gay ears, I direct you towards this. I imagine you know what that is without clicking it Andy.

Quite liking this, but it doesn't approach that Chao EP, at all.

I wouldn't call this black metal at all, except maybe lyrically. It's fairly standard Death Metal to me really, buried in demo production. I hear huge chunks of swedish death in the sound, and there's some nice tremolo, but nothing particularly black metal there - in fact, some parts sound positively "rock"-ish.

I don't know, this could be a band that ends up producing something that really grabs me later, but right now it's now it's not quite there.

Ya, didn't really hear anything particularly black metal about it and couldn't hear Morbid Angel either. The d-beats def give it that Swedish feel alright.
