Hey, I'm into my Crust/Grind music. Love Trap Them, The Secret, Entombed, Nasum, Godflesh, (early) Napalm Death.
I Play in a band called Legions who play a mix of crust, grind and metal. We're working on an album at the moment, i play guitar in that band. also play drums and bass.

Hi all, Stevie here from County Armagh.......been following the forum for a while.......got some good info from it too.........been into the metal scene from late eighties, early ninteties , back when the bands used to get spat at in Belfast whether they were good or not !! Not guilty though !
These days im into a real mix of music .Metal wise im into Sabbath, kyuss, Saint Vitus, Candlemass, Sleep, Orange goblin , well thats this weeks play list anyhow..... |

Im sure some of you remember the Anthrax gig, in Antrim Forum, about 1990 ? They stopped the show a few times due to all the spitting and after a final warning ended it after about 40 mins i think. That spitting at bands thing carried over from the Punk scene i think and thank goodness its in the past now ! |

That was Omagh 1989 (i have it on DVD), same thing happened in Bangor and Dublin.
Anthrax have never played in Antrim. |

Howdy howdy, i'm a long time lurker (been visiting circa 2005!), finally decided to sign up. I hail from the musically barren kip (not entirely true, there's a good jazz scene at least!) that is Sligo.
Into all sorts of shite of course; my first true love was Iron Maiden, but i'd consider Rush and Death as my all time faves (and from that alone someone on here will know who i am  ). The last five albums that were on me hifi go something like:
Bauhaus - 'Mask'
Dead Can Dance - 'Spleen and Ideal'
Absu - 'Tara'
Blotted Science - 'The Machinations of Dementia' and
Gorguts - 'The Erosion of Sanity'
